Covid-19 - Keeping each other safe

Our commitment to you

Providing a safe, clean and comfortable environment for our guests has always been one of our highest priorities. It is now more important than ever to re-evaluate our cleaning procedures and take additional measures to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. We are following the Government guidelines to ensure the protection of both our guests and our families. Whilst we already had many of these systems and measures in place before the pandemic, we would like to further reassure you by highlighting the following:

  • Enhanced cleaning routine of all surfaces.

  • Additional cleaning & sanitising products provided for guest use during their stay.

  • A longer gap between last guest check-out and next guest check-in to provide ample time to properly clean and disinfect all areas.

  • Non-essential, high-contact items that are impractical to clean have been securely stored away to reduce the risk of viral transmission.

  • A smaller supply of complimentary items to reduce the risk of viral transmission and waste.

  • Amount of crockery, glassware, cutlery and other kitchen utensils reduced to ensure that all kitchenware within the property can be thoroughly cleaned each changeover.

  • Non-essential soft-furnishings removed to reduce the risk of viral transmission. Any soft-furnishings that are in the accommodation at the time of your stay will have been cleaned as recommended.

  • All changeovers are completed by the owners to ensure a high standard is maintained at all times.

  • Welcome Pack emailed to guest prior to their stay.

  • Brochures & leaflets stored away in one of the kitchen cupboards – it is up to you whether you use them.

  • Self check-in and check-out using a key-safe to minimise key handling, person to person contact and support social distancing.

  • Option to bring your own bedding and towels if preferred.

How our guests can help us

Maintaining a safe environment for all requires guest cooperation. During your stay please:-

  • Follow the Government guidelines on social distancing, hygiene and cleaning AT ALL TIMES.

  • NHS QR Code - “Check-in” by scanning our official NHS Test & Trace QR code displayed on the wall just inside the property (you will need to download the NHS Covid-19 App onto your smart phone/tablet). We are required by law to have this in the property.

  • Be aware that visitors to the property are NOT permitted.

  • Keep the property clean and tidy, using the products provided (or bring your own).

  • Take all your leftover food items home with you or dispose of them at the end of your stay in the rubbish bags and bins provided.

  • Empty all bins, seal ALL rubbish bags and place along with the recycling in the large brown container outside.

  • Should you or any of your party display any symptoms of Covid19 during your stay, the Government advice is that you should return home immediately. Please notify us that this is the case so that we can close the accommodation and ensure no one enters it.

  • If you have any problems or repairs/replacements, please phone us to discuss a suitable time when you will be out and we can then access the accommodation safely.

Looking forward to welcoming you to stay!
